The city of Parma, designated as the capital of Italian food, is preparing to host the eighteenth edition of Cibus, which since 1985 has served as a strategic tool for promoting Made in Italy and has become the main point of reference for the Italian food product market. CIBUS is among the key international events for the agri-food sector, a great showcase of first-quality products.
With its variety of products offered, CIBUS is the ideal business platform for food and beverage professionals. This year as well, the Apulian wine company Varvaglione will be present to promote Made in Puglia products by Varvaglione.
Varvaglione will be pleased to meet friends and enthusiasts of Apulian wines at “Cibus 2016” and also takes this opportunity to suggest visiting and getting to know better the beautiful city of Parma and the surrounding Emilia region, rich in wonders for the eyes and the spirit, in a blend of the colors and scents of the land, of art, and the genuine flavors of its cuisine. And speaking of cuisine, we open a brief parenthesis to recommend that the public try the pairing between traditional Emilia foods and traditional Apulian wines, such as Prosciutto di Parma accompanied by 12 e mezzo-Negroamaro from Salento IGP, and Parmigiano Reggiano accompanied by Papale Linea Oro-Primitivo di Manduria DOP.
The CIBUS 2016 event will take place at: Fiere di Parma Spa, Viale delle Esposizioni, 393/A, 43126, Parma – Italy.
We at Varvaglione look forward to welcoming you at Hall 8 – Island B024 – Booth 5.
