The Decanter World Wine Awards competition was first held in 2004. Every year, over 14.000 wines are strictly judged by international experts, including Masters of Wine, chief sommeliers, wine magazines publishers, importers and retailers. Then, results are published on the Decanter.com website and on the special supplement to the Decanter magazine.
