Vinitaly International Wine Competition

This competition is organized by Ente Fiera di Verona – the authority for Verona’s fairs. It is one of the accessory events further to Vinitaly and its aim is to spotlight the best wine production, to let both the consumers and the experts know about it, and to introduce to the general public the most distinctive types of wine coming from different countries.

Every year, special awards are

granted, including the Gran Vinitaly (great Vinitaly), Vinitaly Nazione (national Vinitaly) and the eminent medals Gran Medaglia d’Oro (Great Golden Medal), Medaglia d’Oro (Golden Medal), Medaglia d’Argento (Silver Medal) and Medaglia di Bronzo (Bronze Medal).
