Great awards and recognitions to Varvaglione’s wines at the 2015 AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge
The 2015 AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge, one of the most important wine competitions in the world took place on 25th October 2015 at the town hall in Vienna.
It is a majestic place, rich in history and art, where the best wines from the most prestigious international wineries were introduced, with over 3,000 wine experts.
The renowned Salentine winery Varvaglione Vigne & Vini attended such an important event and a variety of its wines has been awarded a silver medal, including: Papale Linea Oro-Primitivo di Manduria DOP, Il Cardinale Linea Oro-Primitivo di Manduria DOP, Papale-Primitivo di Manduria DOP, Chicca-Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale DOCG, 12 e mezzo-Rosato del Salento IGP, 12 e mezzo-Negroamaro del Salento IGP, 12 e mezzo-Malvasia del Salento IGP, Tatu-Primitivo del Tarantino IGP, Margrande-Fiano Salento IGP.
This international competition is famous for its high standards and it gathers a panel of international wine experts coming from viticulture, specialized commerce, sommeliers and wine journalists.
