The two wines from the Private Collection\u2014namely the Primitivo di Manduria<\/b> and the Negroamaro<\/b>\u2014are signed by Cosimo Varvaglione who, together with the young winemaker Nicola Baldari, performs a special act of love. They are the result of the right balance between man and nature, and the outcome is unique and unrepeatable vintages.<\/p>\n
For the https:\/\/www.varvaglione.com\/primitivo-di-manduria-dop\/<\/em> as well as for the Negroamaro, after careful selection and pruning, the grapes are hand-harvested at night; the weather conditions allow for a very high-quality harvest and a niche production. A portion of the grapes is left to wither. The wine<\/b> then ages for fourteen months in wood.
