<< In Puglia, in the Manduria area, among dry stone walls, centuries-old farmhouses, and vineyards rich in history, there is a place where the past intertwines with the future, where the authentic values of tradition are the soul of an ancient passion renewed for four generations in the name of excellence: this place is Varvaglione 1921, an oasis where distinctive nectars are born, capable of telling the story of a unique territory, achieving the perfect union between human craftsmanship and the gift of nature. The virtuous journey of Cosimo, Maria Teresa Varvaglione, and their children is a form of art made of love for the land and dedication to the enhancement of grape varieties, especially the indigenous ones, the only ones capable of expressing the millenary history and culture of Puglia. Meticulous selection of grapes, careful harvesting choices, precise control of the winemaking process, and diligent research in perfecting cellar techniques are some of the factors that have brought this winery to international prominence, as demonstrated by the numerous awards received in major wine competitions.
