The summer of 2014 saw Puglia and its wines take center stage in a gastronomic journey that delighted the international press. Many awards and recognitions were earned by Varvaglione Vigne e Vini, and among the most notable mentions, the Taranto-based winery is honored to appear among the most appreciated quality wines by American freelance journalist Deborah Grossman, a special guest of the Press Tour \u201cVini di Puglia IV\u201d<\/i> organized by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia<\/i> as part of the OCM 2013-2014 promotional program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her article is a true travel diary, illustrating the discovery of wines that delighted the journalist\u2019s palate. Among the standout wines mentioned with honor in the article is the \u201c12 e mezzo \u2013 Rosato del Salento IGP.\u201d Made from Negroamaro grapes of the Salento region, it is one of the new products from Varvaglione Vigne e Vini, launched just last summer.<\/span><\/p>\n
