These wines come from the North, Central, and Southern Italy, including the islands. As has long been adopted by leading international publications, the methodology used in the 2015 guide to the Best Wines of Italy assigns a score on a 100-point scale. Specifically, wines scoring between 95 and 100 are considered of absolute quality, while those scoring between 90 and 94 are regarded as excellent and of very high quality.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The Salento winery Varvaglione Vigne & Vini has the honor of being included in this prestigious selection with its wine \u201cPapale Linea Oro-Primitivo di Manduria DOP 2011.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Only five labels were chosen to represent the Apulia region in the macro-area of wines from Southern Italy and the Islands. Among them, the \u201cPapale Linea Oro-Primitivo di Manduria DOP 2011,\u201d one of the flagship wines of the Taranto-based winery Varvaglione Vigne & Vini, received 93\/100, the highest score awarded overall among the five selected Apulian wineries.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
