For 4 generations, Varvaglione’s company has been a meaningful example of how love and passion for this generous land originate exceptional wines, appreciated and exported to 60 markets.
A lot of important prizes have been awarded, not only for the high quality of wines, but also for the ambitious project to transmit through each wine both culture and charm of a territory characterized by authentic colours and tastes: Puglia. The best representation of this land is free standing vineyards – ad alberello. They are cultivated in an area where the best climate conditions originate Primitivo grapes, that make intense red wines, with a smooth taste and aromas of jam and wild berries. In fact, these are the sensorial perceptions experienced, for example, with the company flagship wine, Papale Linea Oro – Primitivo di Mandura DOP.

WHAT’S NEW

This year, at Vinitaly we are going to present 3 great new wines.

The first is a red wine that will be part of our “12emezzo” collection.

It is a local Apulian variety with a long tradition, as well as violet, red fruits and plumbs aromas.

The second is an indigenous red, with a harmonious and balanced palate, as well as a long fruity and aromatic aftertaste.

The third is a white and elegant wine, with citrus aromas, great acidity and wonderful minerals. Are you ready to taste them?

VARVAGLIONE & VINOD

This year, our Vinitaly is going to be a big party to remember.

A bigger and bigger family, a booth even more beautiful, three new wines, a trendy contest.. so we could not leave out a cookery pearl. Two high level gastronomical events. On Monday 10th April and Tuesday 11th April our stand is going to be filled with international colours and tastes through the cuisine of the Michelin-star-winning chef Vinod Sookar. On the tabloid that we are going to distribute at the 2017 Vinitaly, you will also find some curiosities about him, as well as the menu he has chosen ad hoc for our wines… the only thing left is coming to taste!!
